My next neighbor over has a horse farm. We were moved here by the prayers of my eldest daughter, Sarah, who at the age of 5 decided to pray that we should move next to a horse farm. And because G-d loves her prayers, well, through a complicated set of events, we did move here. Horses are special to her and to us.
"What does a horse symbolize in Hebrew? Unlike the pig and the dog, which are not only forbidden as food but are widely scorned throughout the Torah, the horse, also forbidden as a food, often symbolizes great strength and courage, as well as spectacular beauty." https://jewishcurrents.org, "The Horse in Jewish Religious Text"
