Go the Distance

You didn't come this far to only have come this far.

When David and his men came back to his camp after a winning campaign, he found their wives and goods had been taken. Tired, despaired, ready to give up, David asks from the L-rd what to do.

Zitlag happens in our lives regularly. We are tired. On a high from the last victory. Only to meet with more challenges.

G-d’s word in that hour is to pursue, overtake, and recover. You didn’t come this far to lose.

David does just that. Not only does he come back home with his bride, he comes back home with his property and spoils from the defeated attackers.

You didn’t come this far to just come this far. Keep fighting.
